What if I said…

I had this exact problem!

Explain how you understand your ideal customer’s frustrations because you were there once too. Create empathy by showing that you understand their pain, and then create authority by explaining how you overcame this pain, and that you intend to share how you did it.

Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome, or UARS is a form of Sleep Disordered Breathing characterized by a narrow airway and excessive respiratory effort. The primary symptoms include unrefreshing sleep, brain fog, fatigue, sleepiness, and sometimes chronic insomnia. Though many sleep studies do not differentiate between UARS and OSA, it is typically diagnosed via polysomnogram (PSG), and sometimes PES (esophageal pressure) which can detect abnormal negative pressure.

The term Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome (UARS) was coined to describe a group of patients who historically did not meet the criteria for diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea, and thus were left untreated. Today, advancements in the sleep medicine field have been made in an effort to recognize these patients. However, most patients with UARS around the world still remain undiagnosed and are ultimately left untreated. In memory of Dr. Christian Guilleminault (1938-2019)

Discuss and provide help with all things bi-level. BiPAP is a trademark of Philips Respironics but has become a trade name like Kleenex for tissue; the name is now in parlance for describing bi-level CPAP therapy. Bi-level therapy is defined as CPAP therapy where the inhale and exhale pressures are different; in this regard normal CPAP therapy with EPR/Flex applied would qualify, even if limited in scope. Questions as to whether bi-level would help or be applicable are of course germane here.
